| Being a reader or presenter at Mystic Earth |
Thank you for your interest in being a presenter or reader at Mystic Earth.
Our desire is provide an environment which will allow you to offer the finest presentation
possible to our community in Douglas County. Here are our guidelines for your presentation:
1. Please submit all proposals in writing:

Proposals can be submitted at any time.
2. In your short proposal (1-2 pages) please include:

Your contact information: Name, phone #, e-mail
address, and home address.
·
A professional, smiling photo.
·
A description of what you would like to present.
Please be specific about what you want to teach and what students will learn. Practical
and specific events are preferred by our customers.
·
Your qualifications and/or experience. Just give us a general idea how you’ve
presented in the past.
·
References.
·
Your press kit, if you have one, and copy of your
book or CD
·
For emailed proposals please use a filename that
includes your name, your business name, and the date.
3. After the Mystic Earth event committee reviews your proposal we will get
back to you to discuss our working arrangement. If you are chosen you will need
to send a 90-word write-up of your event and a 30-word bio for yourself.
4. Readers need to be prepared to give a sample reading so that we can see
how your work would fit with what we do at Mystic Earth.
5. Evening events are from 7-9:00 pm and workshops do not begin before 10:00
am.
6. We ask that all presenters agree to the following points:

Understand that you must expect to show up and
give your presentation for as few as 3 people.

Mystic Earth collects all moneys from those who
attend an event. The commission for Mystic Earth is 30%. Commission for presenters is 70%. Presenters will be paid with a Mystic Earth check banked at Wells Fargo.
